“The Sacred Answer to a Sinful World”

SANCTUS : Latin [ghost, holy, saintly]

Established in 2012 by designer Lucinda Sinclair, Sanctus offers exclusivity in a world crowded with the disposable. Handmade in London and using only vegan friendly materials, the collections draw inspiration from ideologies and symbolism of all kinds.

Our aim is to empower women – to remind them of their innate divinity, and to make them feel like the Goddess they are. We do this by also empowering the women making the clothes – by paying them a fair wage to make our designs in an ethical, conscious way.

Our Process

Every Sanctus piece begins its life in our London studio. From the birth of the initial design, to cutting, sewing and packaging your garment – every part of the handmade process is carefully overseen by our small team of dedicated women. We believe that SLOW fashion is the future, and source up to 75% of our (all vegan friendly) fabrics from deadstock, and use organic and GOTS/OEKO Tex Standard fabrics wherever possible. All of our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and is also recyclable. Our processes not only minimise waste and ensures everyone in the supply chain is fairly treated, but it intertwines a sense of cherished value that has been lost in the modern fashion industry.
